MELISMA MEDITATION - POSTPONED

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency we are sorry to have to postpone our concert on 28 March. When we are in a position to be able to reschedule the concert we will let you know.
In the meantime we will keep in touch, sharing some beautiful choral music as the weeks go on to lift all our spirits.
Our very best wishes to you, your friends and family at this time.
The season of Lent is ironically the most indulgent season for choral music, so join us for an applause-free hour of the most beautiful music and your own thoughts.
The beautiful music includes Elgar's Lux Aeterna, a choral version of Nimrod, straddled by earlier music (Purcell's Dido's Lament, Lobo's Versa est in luctum) and music from some of the scrunchiest living composers (Bob Chilcott, Eric Whitacre, and Paul Mealor, of Military Wives fame). We're delighted to have top local cellist, Dave McCann, joining us for Gjeilo's Serenity and unaccompanied Bach.
